Forums - Nintendo Discussion - Dual Wielding WM+ Wiimotes

I look forward to the day, with great anticipation, when some company makes a game that has the option of dual-wielding two WM+ Wiimotes. Such possibilities... Or strap two more wiimotes on your legs for a poor-man's motion capture system, but that's probably ridiculously excessive.

Either way, dual-wielding Wiimotes=win.

On that note, are there any other games that support dual wielding Wiimotes? I know House of the Dead does, and there's this one Wiiware title that does, but I'm not sure about anything else.

I can't see much use for dual-wielding WM+. Boxing games and on-rail action games, I guess.

As a Star Wars fan, I drool over the possibilities.

In line with movie tie-ins, dual wiimotes could be used for Kill Bill the Video game, actually many Tarentino's movies come to mind.

there's a shooting game coming out that's going to be a local multiplayer. Rather than play with a second person, you can dual wield. i'll look for the name :P

I think developers would be afraid of a lack of install base for dual wield WM+ to make it needed but it would be a great perk for those that have.

Being able to have a Darth Maul detachable dual-wield WM+ lightsaber would be a geeks paradise.

No More Heroes 2: Desperate Struggle but not with 2 wiimotes.

I think that pretty much ends this thread.

I always thought it would be pretty awesome for an FPS (that utilizes melee weapons I suppose). I mean, one doesn't need the analog stick for movement - PC shooters work fine without it. Using 2 guns or 2 swords (or a mix of both) at the same time would be pretty damn hot.

I hope someone tries it at least once this gen...

Holy shit.  After watching that hands-on video, I NEED that game.

Now I wish devs would let you strap Wiimotes to your feet to allow quadruple-wielding.
