I'm guessing that, you are playing the 360 version. BTW, the mission based xp is a great idea imo, because it allows for infinite spawns in certain parts of the game which makes it much more intense, and also makes it so you explore the world and story much more, lets face it, casual gamers don't usually go through all of a RPG, they beat the game and leave, but with this system, they have to learn much about the really interesting world and writing in the game.

Those are two things I dislike heavily. The infinite spawns is really aggravating especially when your playing on Insanity. The abilities feel really dumbed down, though i love the ice + fire bullets.

The spawns aren't any different to the first one or am i missing something.

there are certain parts with infinite spawns, it's really fun shit( though I'm infiltrator so I cloak a lot.) I'm not playing insanity until my second time lol, my brother tried it and he gave up and lowered it to vet since some missions were nearly impossible on the hardest difficulty.

I got the impression that sometimes they just keept coming and coming until you did what you were supposed to in terms of story. Didin't happen a lot, but it seemed to happen sometimes. Either that, or the quantity of enemies in certain areas is much higher than in ME1.

I'm on vet as infiltrator. Saving insanity for the second playthrough as well.

Yeah i'm playing on Insanity on my first run through, it is hard and the infinite spawns do not help. Sometimes you just have to try to get through to get past them.

Also if anyone is having trouble with the evil ass hard boss on the Krogan Planet. I have the best strategy ever to win that fight. Works on Insane as well.
