It was a little crazy for WSR predictions anyway, I can't see people buying wiis because of Wii Sport Resorts, most of the sales will come from already owners of the console.

Dragon Quest IX preorders are just amazing...I'm beggining to wonder if this game can do 3 million week one. It probably can't, but 2.5m week one is probably a push (50% chance of happening) at the moment.

Why is this one so anticipated when IV and V on the DS only managed 600k and 680k?

This one is new, the iterations you mentioned are ports/remakes from the SNES. Its actually amazing how well the older versions sell on DS.

And those games are remade more then once. DQV received a PS2 remake. And just like the Source said, they aren't even remakes, just SNES ports(like Chrono Trigger).
