I think its well known Sony fans/fanbois are the most angry and vocal, thats what I heard from non bias all 3 console owners from this site anyway ...

On the newer revisions the fans are no louder then ps3. The disc drive is louder though.

You really shouldn't be able to hear the fan unless you're playing in dead silence...if you have the volume on though, you can't hear anything.

OT I don't see how a fan can become overheated, they cool down the system no?

OP....are you just flaming...or are you asking about the actual fans from a thermodynamic point of view (with added sound waves)
