Forums - Gaming Discussion - Halo 3 Possibly in September, massive year for Xbox 360

It seems as though we may see the mega hit in September as opposed to the assumed November release. When asked about possibly shipping Halo 3 out of the November time frame that worked so well for Halo 2: We don’t tell Bungie when they have to ship Halo 3. If they can get out before GTA4, they probably feel like that’s better, sort of like Xbox 360 coming out before PlayStation 3. If you pair this quote with the quotes that Kim delivered about Mass Effect saying he “would not be afraid to [launch in the summer]” and “it makes no sense for first party titles to compete with other first party titles” this could lead to eight great Xbox 360 titles, seven of which are first party titles, in eight consecutive months on the Xbox 360. The monthly big releases from Microsoft could break down as follows: May - Forza 2 June - Shadowrun July - Mass Effect August - Blue Dragon September - Halo 3 October - Grand Theft Auto 4 November - Project Gotham Racing 4 December - Lost Odyssey lol after playing CRYSIS do you think anyone would actually buy this game???? photorealism vs cartoon film??? there is no black x360..........it was just a rumour............and anyway without a NEXT-GEN drive it is basically the same as the 20gig version. No one is waiting for HALO 3..........this is new gen. where photorealism of LAIR, CRYSIS gets all the attention
I told ya that he is washimul...

If MS combines a price drop with the 360's software lineup for this year, it could be a tough year for Sony. Even if you assume that all of Nintendo's big IPs hit this year, the Wii lineup doesn't hold a candle to the 360s for this year. As for the PS3, Sony better do something and do it quickly or they are in for an even rougher year than they've had thus far. BTW I would also like to add that only 2 of the games listed in Ioi's post are FPS games. So there goes that argument

It could be huge!!!!!
