Forums - Microsoft Discussion - Metal Gear Solid: Rising won't use MGS4 Engine

"Were using a new engine and to be honest it looks like crap compared to MGS 4, don't buy it."

Is that what you expect them to say?

I don't get it, why do you insist that MGS:Rising looks like "crap" compared to MGS:4? Have you seen this game in the future or something? At least wait until we have more information on the game before you say it will be graphically inferior to MGS:4.

If I recall, games should be getting better in terms of graphics and not the other way around. Ex: gears of war -> gears of war 2, lost planet -> lost planet 2, uncharted -> uncharted 2, -> GT5:P -> GT5.

I wouldn't be surprised if MGS:R ends up looking better than MGS:4.

Zizzla - You're spammerific. Anyway you asked what other games they made for me to rate them? Well no duh. That's why they are a Rank C. Where else would they start? If you don't know Ranks start lower and raise.

And all I got from you is "Wah they are so right so I'm just going to try and discredit them by saying they are just angry its on the 360 without anything to support my claims"

Ok sure....

I can understand people being skeptical of a new teams abilities but Kojima isn't the type to just hand over a game to people if he doesn't feel confident in them. Give the group a chance to show us what they can do instead of bashing MGS:R just because Kojima himself won't be as involved as he normally has been. Give the game a chance people!

How our favorite systems are just like humans and sometimes have issues finding their special someone...

Xbox 360 wants to KinectPS3 wants to Move!  Why are both systems having such relationship problems?  The reason is they both become so infactuated with desire while watching the Wii as it waggles on by. They simply want what they can't have.

I'm not sure what's funnier...That the game is not even out..Or that it has not even been shown...

Yes, but we have a slew of time travelers visiting us from the future, so they can fill us in - so don't worry.
