I hope to god they do. Resistance series is great. I am more invested in the Resistance lore than I am for Killzone 2. I just wish there was enough time to play both really :(

I don't get the generic speak about Resistance 2. The online Coop is very different compared to most games that I know of and is one of the most fun online experiences I have had in a long time. I love how you never know what kind of situations you may be thrown in. You may think you know a specific level by heart, then Insomniac goes and does a switcharoo during one of their updates and you will be like "Wait, WTF? I don't remember that? O shit!!! RUN!!!!"

And the story was actually good and consistent IMO, maybe even more consistant then Killzone's was, and from what I have seen, better then Gears 2's. The only low point was the final boss, way too simple(not easy because difficulty settings will change that, TRUST).

No I would not I have no interest in Resistance series whatsoever. There are much better shooters on the market Call Of Duty, Gears of War, Killzone, Half-Life, Halo and Far Cry games are better shooter games than Resistance. Shooter market is highly saturated with quality games.

O yea. Would definitely like if R3 has....
-Nathan Hale return. I don't want to play with that other hot headed guy who shot him :(
-Weapon Wheels return. I loved the weapon wheel. I am not going to bash the R2 setup tho. It was fine. I find it repulsive how everyone complained how the WW was not "realistic" in the first, then say " we miss WW" for the second. Insomniac seemingly can't please everyone :P
- Bring back ALL the weapons from first and second. Arc Charger, Bullseye,Magnum, Marksman, FarEye, Carbine, etc. as well as some new goodies. Resistance is all about the awesome toys.
-Cramped battles: I miss the "Subway" level from the first. It allowed for awesome 4player deathmatches. Air Fuel Grenades AHOY!!! lol I don't remember any stages like the Mall either in 2. That would have been awesome.
-Keep the SciFi Horror movie feeling. I fucking LOVE IT. The first game was very reminiscent of Mars attacks or something. The second was more like a slasher flick with zombies XD. I like the feeling the games give.
-Seriously, I am willing to give a free pass to any game for graphics if they would please put split screen back in video games. Don't these companies realize that we want that more then flashy graphics ? Coop Story Split Screen would be appreciated as well.
-HENRY STILLMAN! Did anyone else love this man's radio show of utter doom and gloom? He really helped set the tone of the game, strong feeling of hopelessness. I really want to believe he is still alive out there, even though he thinks hes the last man alive :(

If it does land in 2010 it will need to release at least a month before HALO and preferably before CoD.

It will be rushed unless they're already quite far into development.

Definitly getting it and I don't get how Resistance is generic and other FPS like COD,HALO or KZ isn't I mean they all have the same gameplay (run and shoot) the only differences are the characters,guns, story and theme but thay all basically the same + they all have MP hek COD don't even have CO-OP while resistance has 8 player CO-OP.

IIRC isn't resistance 2 exclusive to the PS3 ? Halo isn't going to have a signifcant impact unless they release on the same day.
