Forums - Sony Discussion - Should we be concerned about prototype?

It seem strange that no reviews have come out for it yet(other than PSW Mag).

I'm assuming that this is for 1 of two reasons:

A)The publisher requested holding off on the reviews since it's not likely to be nearly as good as the hype

B)Everyone has just been really really busy because of E3

I'm sure this has been talked about before, but hopefully it's B) since I've been looking forward to this one for awhile.

Romance is like playing Mastermind except the girl never tells you which pegs you got right. - Seanbaby

It's like INfamous but with another catch to it. Infamous = electricity, Prototype is "transforming into a body" / using superhuman abilities to smash and bash pretty much everything.

I'm also worried about the fact that we haven't seen any reviews so far ...

I'm pretty hyped about it for the moment so... oh well if it fails, I will take Infamous instead... but on paper/demos, Prototype looks very cool.

Evan Wells (Uncharted 2): I think the differences that you see between any two games has much more to do with the developer than whether it’s on the Xbox or PS3.

Yea it's indeed strange.

It's coming out tomorrow in the US right?

Perhaps a distribution problem?

I'm picking up Prototype either way. Why would we be worried? Why would we be concerned? I don't get it. It's like being concerned for the well being of a shell on the beach.

Well.. Prototype "looks" faster and way more intense (and mean..) then Infamous...

But since Infamous is there and has received positive reviews already, it is legitimate to wait for the reviews on Prototype before making a choice..

No ?
