If you watched the 2009 E3 Sony Press Conference, they pronounced it as ee-ko when they were introducing the Last Guardian.

^^^ I read it in the LiveBlog, didnt listen to audio. Fair enough. I also pronounce Coffee - Caw-fee, Haunting - Hawn-ting, and Water - Wa-duh .. but hey, I grew up in Brookyn, NY - fuggheddaboudit
I'm with Soriku. I will not pronounce it ee-ko.
Just like I will pronounce Sasuke as Sa-su-kay rather than Sass-kay. Or Ty-dus rather than tee-dus.

learning that I was pronouncing the name of the character from my favorite game devastated me :\ (tide-us sounds a lot better than TEEdus)

You know, "Let's go with Tidus to the secret place"

Nobody's perfect. I aint nobody!!!
Killzone 2. its not a fps. it a FIRST PERSON WAR SIMULATOR!!!! ..The true PLAYSTATION 3 launch date and market dominations is SEP 1st
Obviously Ee-ko because if you think about it in Japanese this pronouciation means several things depending on how you say it : Ikou (ikimasu) = "let's go", ikou = great deed, iiko (good kid), iko = orphan.
