Forums - Nintendo Discussion - N-Zone reviews The Conduit

Hi,

I just got the newest issue of the german magazine N-Zone. In it the reviewed The Conduit.

The scores are:

Singleplayer: 82%

Multiplayer: 90%

Subscores are: Controls 92%, Graphics 86% and Sound 81%

All in all the review is quite possitve. What will interest the most is that they are very happy with the multiplayermode in which they never suffered any lag.

86% average. Hmmm not bad.

Good review for the conduit.

In the wilderness we go alone with our new knowledge and strength.

with the few reviews so far, the conduit is, in 2 words:GREAT GAME. good for me.

If you have any questions about the review just ask me and I´ll try to answer them.

Did they mention how long single-player campaign is?

"And yet, I've realized that maybe living a "decent" life means you won't ever have a "good" life."

They said that there are 9 levels in total which each take somewhat around 45 min to complete. In this time is no calculated the times you die. So you have to add some to this 45 min per level.

So we can say that the Single-player mode is lasting about 10-12 hours? Can you say me what they liked more of multiplayer out of no-lagging??

CURRENTLY PLAYING: Xenoblade (Wii), Super mario 3D land (3DS), Guild Wars (PC)

They say that effective playtime without dying is around 9 hours. It does depends on each players skill how much longer it will take.

In MP they say that there is only a slight difference in the visual department. SO its not like in CoD WaW where the visuals take a huge cut in online MP. Apart from that they mention that there are exp. points which you earn and you can level up until lv 25.
The parts about the maps being seperated in small, average and big are already known. They also mean that each if the modes works really really good and is worth to play.

Wii speak usage works very well and they had no issues with it.

Im not surprised they didn't suffer any lag, they probably played it on multiplayer within the same building.

That's what annoys me with most reviews (so it's not just Nintendo I'm talking about here) is that these places don't have the resources to thoroughly test multiplayer. That's why I like GT because they wait until the game drops to see how the multiplayer experience is for consumers (or they say they aren't basing the review off of multiplayer because they couldn't). But not many other publications/websites will do that because they want to be the first to launch a review of the game.

Still, a good score, what I expected of The Conduit.
