Please read that and repost it to every gaming site you go to and do what I did. It can make a difference if done by a lot of people.

MSRP is manufacturers suggested retail price. If Gamestop wanted to sell the WM+ for 200$, they'd be legally able to. Feel sorry for the guys. They're getting squeezed by casual gamers buying at walmart, and hardcore gamers buying more and more downloadable games.


They CAN sell it for whatever they want, however they are being squeezed by no one. They posted record quarters the last two quarters in tough times, mostly do to used business. The only to stop a practice like this is to not buy it from them. and complain, and tell other not to buy from them as well.

Wait... what? Why would one store raising the price of a non-essential item be illegal?

If anything MSRPs are anti-competitive. But (mostly) they are not binding.



I would cite regulation, but I know you will simply ignore it.

What IS that cover for?

For avoiding lawsuits against Nintendo (or at least making them easy to deflect). Personally I like the jacket, sometimes it's easy to hit someone with the Wii Remote while playing Wii Sports.
