"The recently revealed Metroid Prime Trilogy will launch in the UK on September 4. That's all three Metroid Prime games in one handy package, with waggle controls.

Metroid Prime and Metroid Prime: Echoes will, like other New Play Control titles, be redesigned to feature full widescreen, 480p support and the same Wii Remote and Nunchuk controls as Corruption.

The trilogy will be released on one disc and is being developed by Retro Studios who made the original games. That is all.

It's about time for my annual playthrough of MP but I've held off playing it again so I can play it with the superior controls, nice to have it finally dated. I'm still keeping my origanal copy though...to many good memories to just sell it.

Would love to play Prime again. Hated 2 and already have 3 (which I am yet to beat the final boss but seemed to have lost interest in the game). So this is probably a miss for me.

1 disc? WOW ... Thats convenient ... too bad i have Metroid prime 1 + 2 on GC. Its all good anyway, id rather play em on GC then Wii. Reminds me of Mario galaxy, its pro, but would have been better on GC ;) What im trying to say is ... GC controller > Wii mote + Nunchuck, Oh Noes!

How in the hell did you come to that conclusion? I'm hoping that's sarcasm right there because the fact you could control Mario while picking up all the star pieces could not be done with the GCN controller without being an epic failure.
