Would it be possible to expand into HD DVD vs Blu Ray on the front page?? Blu Ray and PS3's go hand in hand. It would be a good way to expand the website. Just a thought.

I'm not too sure how anyone else will respond, but personally I would rather VGCharts remains strictly videogame related ... A sister site "DVD CHARTS" may work though ...

I don't think it would change things much, just a new Forum "New DVD format" or whatever and a little box on the front page that say how many of each have been sold.

check AMAZON and DVDEMPIRE. BD is outselling HDDVD 3:1 at the moment. tht margin would be increasing to 10:1 by teh end of 2007. Reatilers finally pull out the plug off HD-DVD in 2008

Nah. There are other sites for that. As long as we get the occaisonal thread about how this sort of thing may or may not effect PS3 sales, I'm happy.

I personally doubt the margine will grow by that much but I don't think that is all that important at the moment. I have seen it said several times that both formats are under performing and that studios were not happy with how poorly their movies were selling ... I don't think this means that the formats will disapear but you should see some pretty drastic measures from both groups in order to increase sales ...

I dont see the interest ,there are sites as amazon ,eproductwars and dvdempire where you can see the evolution of that market .Besides ,everyone knows the BR is trouncing and will continue to trounce the HD-DVD...it simply has more support in makers and moviemakers and with the PS3 behind it can hardly fail .
