Forums - Gaming Discussion - What do you think we'll see from the Big 3 in the future?

As most people know E3 is not the only gaming conference throughout the year. It however is the biggest. There is still two other fairly big conferences to come.

The first of the two is Game Developers Conference (GDC). This one is not like E3. GDC is for the game developers and there aren't too many announcements coming from this event. (So don't get your hopes up!) Basically the developers gather and talk about new technologies and how they use it in their game, or smaller devs try to get noticed.

The event is 3 days long. It starts August 17 and ends August 19th.

The second one is the bigger of the two. Tokyo Game Show (TGS). Tokyo Game Show is like E3 for Japan. Many Japanese developers show up and show off their games. There are announcements usually at this event.

The event is 4 days long. However, it's basically just 2 days since the first 2 days is closed and basically press only and the last 2 days is open to the public and basically the same thing. The event starts in late September.

So what do you guys think we'll see at these two remaining events?

I think at GDC we will see a lot of Natal (if MS shows up this year) and Sony motion from first party. We also might see 3rd parties showing what they have been doing with it if one of them passed the info on.

At TGS I think we will see a lot of SE (Like always) and them just talking more about FF14 and finally give a FF13 Japanese release date. I think we will see Sony announce a Ps3 revision. E3 was showing the new PSP and I believe TGS will get the floor for Ps3 slim. Also, if I'm not mistaken Ps2 slim was released in Japan first (I could be wrong). I also believe we will see Polyphony with GT news. Among various other developers such as Konami with Castlevania.
