Forums - Microsoft Discussion - So when will MS announce new version of steering wheel?

ok so we got Forza 3 coming that will have new features for racing sim fans and as we know Turn 10 announced best wheel for their game that will have clutch and normal H-pattern shifter(Fanatec Porsche 911 Turbo S Wheel). the thing is it will be limited to 10000 copies and we will have new Forza in like 3 months - so when do we get new official 360 steering wheel that will be fully compatible with F3 and what will be the price of this beast?

No wheel, you will be using your hands!

I really wish that expensive controllers could be used on multiple consoles using an adapter.

Yet, today, America's leaders are reenacting every folly that brought these great powers [Russia, Germany, and Japan] to ruin -- from arrogance and hubris, to assertions of global hegemony, to imperial overstretch, to trumpeting new 'crusades,' to handing out war guarantees to regions and countries where Americans have never fought before. We are piling up the kind of commitments that produced the greatest disasters of the twentieth century.

well there are some non-MS wheels compatible with 360 - thing is most of them don't support many 360 racing games that are supported by official wheel or have problems with them and then there's a fact that future racing games may not be working properly with those wheels.

That could work for Mario Kart but not for Forza.

I like how you spread all the FUD and make this stupid thread.  Fanatec wheel is now limited edition, once sold out they will start regular production run.  The Fanatec wheel work with all three platform PC, 360 and PS3.

What wheel are not support?  Logitech 360 wheel work with all the racing games on the 360, I used to own one before I got MS wheel.

well right now all 3 models are limited so how do you know? besides i think MS should make new official wheel when when the one they are selling right now won't be fully compatible with their own biggest racing game, right? besides the price of those Fanatec wheels starts from almost 200euros:/ also some of the wheels don't work with certain 360 games eventhough they have 360 support written on the box - just watch some episodes of inside sim racing.
