There are lots of things you can do with Natal.

Play Guitar Hero and Rock Band. They can use the camera to capture your body movements then make the onscreen characters imitate you.

Dancing games and exercise games where you need to copy the moves of the person on screen.

I would let anyone dry hump my avatar online. But you'll have to pay, I'm not cheap.

Guys, you wouldn't have to use button or a toy gun. To shoot you could simply say bang, or move a finger, the possibilities are endless. I do disagree with the idea of selling games that only work with NATAL or only work with the 360 controller. Who the hell would they buy NATAL, if they had to buy a second copy of Gears of War or Halo? I say make all the games support both controllers.

Past Avatar picture!!!

Don't forget your helmet there, Master Chief!

I think people need to realise that a big company like microsoft wouldn't have something like this in such a bad economic time if it wasn't practical. The thing with this is that, some people may complain about there not being any buttons at all, but Microsoft could just as easily make a device for hardcore games like FPS's (like the PS3's Remote + Camera solution) that works in tandem with Natal. People say that it becomes really hard to do this once the camera is out on its own but look at things like the Wii Wheel, Guitar Hero/Rock Band Instruments and Wii MotionPlus. This way they can have their casual camera only games (along with some suitable games, maybe racing and simple RTS's like halo wars and Endwar (imagine circling your finger to make a selection of units and then speaking an action).

Actually, I just noticed how Natal would really work well with Endwar, to an extent Halo Wars and Joy Rider. Wow, I really want to play Natal Halo Wars now, lol.

EDIT: To the post above, I agree. Microsoft should be smart enough to use their patching system to update games (or atleast important ones) with extra controls for Natal, think about how Sony did it with Trophies to an extent and the Lair control update (haha, I'm using Lair as an example for something positive :S).

Consoles Owned: XBOX 360, Wii, DS and PSP.

Don't worry about that. The Burnout: Paradise game they demoed with Natal wasn't a specially designed one, it was store-bought. In all likelihood, an update to a game would suffice to make it playable with Natal.

GOTY Contestants this year: Dead Space 2, Dark Souls, Tales of Graces f. Everything else can suck it.

Danger!  Danger!  First signs of NATAL being a Waggle Wrangler device, to round up fans of Waggle, detected.

Hmm... I just notice Natal is one letter away from being Fatal.

Person could point at the the screen with a single finger and then close their finger into the rest of their fingers to make a fist and that acts like a trigger being pulled.

Using patching for older games is also a definite possibility.

Yeah...but the Army and Marines could us it...with guns...NATAL would be a superb technology to impliment urban training environments, and you wouldn't even need VR helmets, just an open space...ala Star Trek holodeck!
