I see Forza has a slight edge because of the higher contrast.

But I don't see it's owning GT5P.

You are entitled to your opinion. But most people would say Forza 3 beats GT5P. The mountains look so much more detailed in Forza 3 and the cars look more real. Better reflections. Also the amount of trackside detail is m,ore in Forza 3. The actual GT5 may be brought up to Forza 3 standard of graphics, but GT5P certainly isnt. In the first F3 video I posted when he goes around the first right hander and comes out onto the straight. The draw distance looking over the canyon to the mountains is so detailed. That is one of the best graphics moments Ive ever seen.

The link I provided does not show GT portable CGI, it shows gameplay. It is a camera recording of someone playing it on an actual PSP.

 

Also good job calling me out as a fanboy, you obviously have not checked my gaming collection and/or checked my posting history, favorite current Next Gen title (I am a JRPG fan) or seem to realize that nowhere have a said a single negative thing about Forza 3.

Huh? I did say F3 has a slight edge compared to GT5P, but not with a huge margin like you said.

Yeah reread it. sorry bro. When GT5 comes out I'm sure they will be about equal, but people posting GT5P beats Forza3 is plain silly.

No I believe you. It's just that resolution isn't really 480p, 720p, 1080i, 1080p. Like I said closer to a square.

In fact GT5 Prologue is only 1280x1080 @60fps but it's upscaled to 1080p.Replays are the same but only @30fps. The show room and the pit/garage are full 1920x1080.

It looks nice, but I'm not really into racing games. I play them on the PS3 because of the G25 racing wheel, but if not for that, I wouldn't play them at all.
