Pixel Art can be fun.

Metroid with the 2 mario games as a close second.

My soon to be favorite game.(hopefully) You could probably guess what that is.

Uncharted2 gameplay.

runner up Gtpsp having 800 cars was flipping epic with regards to the Forza 3 guy.

PS One/2/p/3slim/Vita owner. I survived the Apocalyps3/Collaps3 and all I got was this lousy signature.

Xbox One: What are you doing Dave?

METROID...unquestionably.

Although a close second was when that MS guy tried to show what the bottom of an avatar's shoe looks like.... "BAM!"  hahahaha Classic.

I'm gonna go check out the TRICO announcement now though.  That probably has some potential.

Oh, and remember MIYAMOTO has a conference later this evening.  I'm sure something will come out of that.

God of War 3 demo...and Uncharted 2

Final Fantasy XIV: Online! + FF13 Extended Trailer at Sony Conference!

Overall, Definitely Alan Wake gameplay, the 15 min section around the Alan Wake section was perfect at Microsoft's E3. Splinter Cell Conviction looks amazing, I've never played one before and It got me hooked! Halo ODST looked good too, I'm looking forward to NOT playing as Master Chief. But the best of the 3 was Alan Wake, the look and feel of it was perfect (I felt excited and creeped out just by watching it in the conference, which is how I want the game to make the player feel).

Out of the other things so far, for Nintendo, nothing has really got me excited. I seriously don't get how you can get so excited about Mario, I love mario too but its really something huge, groundbreaking or something to anticipate release of. Its just another great game, which is fine though, I mean I had fun playing Mario Galaxy but it feels aged, no story at all, I can't play a game without story - which is my opinion, so no need for any backlash here.

Sony on the other hand, actually excited me about a couple of things in their conference, MAG was OK, I still think that so many players is a detriment to the game more than a benefit, I'd draw a line at Resistance's 60 players as the absolute maximum, anything above that just doesn't add anything other than "wow! Its 256 players!!!!!", like you'll actually encounter more than 32 at maximum in a section of the map at once anyway (except when overlooking the map from above in a sniper tower for example).

The two things were the sheer amount of support they got for the PSP, as well as the actual handheld itself and the LBP-style racing game. The PSP go really reinvigorated the handheld, I'm sure sony has noticed that Nintendo has no plans of ending their cash cow of the DS for a while and have a good SKY setup for their PSP now. The racing game was actually very impressive, LBP v2.0, with a mix of Mario Kart and of course LBP. Look out for this one next year when they unleash it (I think next year?).

Haha, sorry for the wall of text, just wanted to write a round up of e3 so far and ended up expanding too much lol.

Consoles Owned: XBOX 360, Wii, DS and PSP.

The 50 PS1 games coming to the PSN, hoping for some classics that I don't already own. (Vagrant Story please)

I am going to say New Super Mario Bros. Wii simply because what I wanted was New Super Mario World for the DS but what I got was an awesome 4 player coop 2D mario platform on a home console (first time in nearly 20 years, not including handheld) that I think will have yoshi in it (and even if it doesn't I will will live with yoshi in SMG2)

Currently dreaming of: DKC4 or Sonic the Hedgehog 4 (classic 2D platformers) for WiiWare, Smash Bros. for DSi, New Super Mario World for DSi, a Wii remake or true sequel of Final Fantasy Tactics.

One down, hopefully more awesomeness to come.
