Microsoft: 9/10

Sony: 9/10

Nintendo: 7/10

For the first time in E3 history for me, and it seems that others agree in this thread as well (more than ever), everyone wins. I'd have to go with Microsoft winning E3 if I had to choose. Project Nadal, Twitter, and the Facebook parts of MS's E3 were the obvious lows, but everything else was amazingly presented. Alan Wake looks amazing, HALO ODST, as well the defining moment Kojima announced the next Metal Gear for 360 (although it will also come to the PS3). I'll save the boredom of recaping what happened at E3 as everyone knows what happened already and go on with saying that it has never been a better time to be a gamer than now.

MS won hands down - 2009 Holidays full of AAA titles. Potential in motion control future.

Nintendo second.

Sony weak third - Extremely thin on big games for 2009. Too much focus on PSP

You do know Sony has more exclusive games launching this Fall than Microsoft right?  And how do you know the AAA titles for Xbox if they haven't yet been released?

After considering it, this thread is a waste of time. Everybody will make their favorite console the winner of this E3.

I smiled the most with the Nintendo announcements.

iPhone = Great gaming device. Don't agree? Who cares, because you're wrong.

Currently playing:

@atma998: Exactly. Sony may have been the obvious winner but 360 fans would still say Microsoft won. However, you must remember, this is all a matter of preference. In my eye, Sony just edged out Microsoft with the FF14 thing, it doesn't matter if it is a MMORPG, (@everyone, stop comparing this to 11, it is a brand new game), and Agent, not to mention The Last Guardian. Microsoft hit me hard though, I can't wait to get my hands on Alan Wake and Splinter Cell, OH GOD LET THEM RELEASE NOW! Plus Halo's are coming. It's a good time to be a gamer!!!

@bigdom2786: I am not talking about games announced at the conference, but confirmed games to release this fall.  Heavy Rain releases this fall by the way, & so does MAG.  Other exclusives like Ratchet and NGS 2 are coming this year.

Every one wins, everyone loses. Think about it, all fans got what they want:

Nintendo - Core games, with an emphasis on Mario and Metroid to boot.

Microsoft - Their megaton in the form of MGS: R. More Halo.

Sony - Lots of big guns, good mixture.

Every one loses:

Nntendo - No anticipated Zelda. also, too much Cammie again

Microsoft - Maybe a bit too much focus on the casual? Megaton didn't explode completely as no main-line MGS.

Sony - No price drop as a lot had hoped. General bad response to PSP go price and and motioncontroller.

Everyone was surprised:

Nintendo - Metroid, clearly.

Microsoft - Project Natal

Sony - FF14, despite being an MMO.

The Doctor will see you now  Promoting Lesbianism -->

They all had pretty strong showings this year.

Nintendo's cardiogram was lol worthy but MS's natal and Sony's waggletoy kind of balanced it out.

Current-gen game collection uploaded on the profile, full of win and good games; also most of my PC games. Lucasfilm Games/LucasArts 1982-2008 (Requiescat In Pace).

Im not sure anyone can say who the real winner was as it all comes down to what games or new features intrest you. As far as being a overall show I say the 360(notice I say show) with them having stars like the beatle memnber and steven.s. on stage.

Sony come on

The last guardian
FF14
Agent
UC2
GOW3 gameplay
MGS PSP
others... Sony ruled e3 09 IMO and best and longest Sony Press ever!

I owned a 360 for 7 months and i realised there is no point will all the PS3 games coming out this year Uncharted 3 <3
