I just saw the Microsoft Conference and I was impressed with the Forza 3 showing, with Forza 2 being released not too long ago and now Forza 3 scheduled for October. We must give credit to Turn 10 for delivering so fast whether or not they will deliver the goods im pretty confident.

From the press conference the creator made some BOLD statements "Forza 3 will be the definitive racing game of this Generation" - "Forza 3 will have the best graphics game of this generation" With these statements Forza 3 is on the hunt. Dont get me wrong I love the Gran turismo series but no other game this Gen has pissed me of so much as GT5. This game was supposed to launch in 2007 and were in 2009 and all we have been given is a demo, with Turn 10 releasing Forza 3 this October and meeting the needs of the Xbox 360 owners. Polyphony best announce the Gran Turismo 5 release date today, or fear being left behind.

What are your thoughts on Forza 3 vs Gran turismo 5, considering the statements that were made.

To answer your last question. Yeah im a little miffed by l4d getting a sequel so soon. Those new characters have some big shoes to fill. Hard to beat characters like francis and lewis. Wonder if this means we wont get any new maps for the first l4d.

Those were some BOLD statements. I'll wait until Sony's turn tomorrow, but Forza 3 looks impressive.

Even the die hard MS fans will openly admit GT is the better game... when compared to Forza 2.
Forza 3 is raising the bar for "sim" racers and Turn 10 is able to put out a new one every few years. I think in the long run It's going to be a really close call as to what game is better. I just hope MS keeps Turn 10 and they don't let them go like they did with Bizarre studios because PGR was my favorite racer behind Rallisport Challenge 2 (which they let go years ago.).

Tho Sony has It's hands full with a PSP version and a PS3 version of Gran Turismo thats for sure.

Well hopefully GT5 is announced for 2009 then I can be playing the living hell out of this game until my PS3 blows up. If it doesn't come till 2010 then I will be purchasing a copy of Forza 3 for my friend's 360 and play it until it melts. I do love the whole car custom paint jobs you can do in Forza.
