i think the Ps2's library is better than Wii , Ps3 , Xbox 360 libraries combined.

PS2 also had some shovelware, but the Wii has about 10x more shovelware.
Eh, whatever console is in the lead, tends to have a ton of crap games. Back during the PS2/Xbox/GCN generation, due to budgetary constraints, I was Nintendo only, and frequently made fun of the PS2's shovelware (Ninjabread man came out on PS2 first, heh), same thing happened to the PS1, NES, and 2600. I also remember quite a few crap Genesis games.
As for which will have the better library, that's very hard to say, because it's subjective, speculative, and ill-defined (do you include PS1/GCN, Virtual Console, New Play Control, etc?). Lets just say both have their gems (God of War, Mario Galaxy) and both have their crap (Ninjabreadman).
Personally, I prefer the Wii/GCN's library, but that's mostly because I'm a big Nintendo fan. Someone who prefers other games could easily prefer the PS2's library. Such is taste and subjectivity.

That sounds like the thinking of a selective memory.
In the wilderness we go alone with our new knowledge and strength.

If its only the number of good games on System A then System B, then I think Torillian answered this argument fairly early on.
GOTY Contestants this year: Dead Space 2, Dark Souls, Tales of Graces f. Everything else can suck it.

That really leaves out variety though as shown by other genres. Which is why Wii has a distinct edge... it just has more Genres so if your a well rounded gamer.... the Wii is likely going to appeal to you more in the end. It just has more genres that can be done the right way.

i think the wii lacks alot of genres, it focuses on a couple genres and ignores the rest

What genre doesn't exist on the Wii?

There are no RPG's to speak of on the Wii other than Fire Emblem, which I own. And I'm not counting VC games either because I have been gaming for years, and have already played through the older RPGs on their respective original systems.

I think there's also a Tales of Symphonia sequel, probably a few other things too.
To be fair though, the only system that actually does have a lot of RPGs is the 360, which for some reason has jRPGs coming out the ass. (In a good way. )
