Well, Nikkei just confirmed Wii Fit+, and it will have an online mode according to them, so this in fact will be their main focus on the Wii side, along with Wii Sports Resort and M+.

A new Mario game is also hinted, possibly NSMB2 for the DSi or maybe Mario Party 9. These predictions are now more accurate.

The Nikkei article actually implies the Mario game is for Wii to lift Wii software sales in Japan if you translate it yourself

No, there will be more games and WSR is not going to get any conference coverage. It will playable on the floor but its not going to be mentioned on stage.

@megaman79: they still haven't released any info on the game, besides they'll need something to showcase M+.

that will be Zelda (hopefully) or Red Steel 2. They need to balance WF+ with some form of core interest. They know they have to do this, after apoligising last year they will do this.

I still think it's Wii Sports Resort. It's a game for everyone, plus it's soon to be released in Japan, so they need to show it to the people. Unluckily, I think that Zelda will be revealed at next E3 for a 2010 holiday launch date.

They will never use a 3rd party game to showcase new tech. So it won't be Red Steel 2.

The only reason i can see Nintendo showing WSR twice (08 + 09) is to prove that their shit is better than MS motion cam thing. But the likelyhood of them showing a game twice, especially after the crap reception of 08's show, is very small.
