Mass Effect, JRPG's suck
Final Fantasy will win in both sales and in quality.
JRPG > WRPG any day
The PS3 version of FF13 in NA will outsell the PS3 version of Mass Effect 2 alone.
This is an easy one, FFXIII will win hands down. ME2 is a xbox 360 exclusive so it limits its overall potential.
The real question is, which will be the better game? I honestly think ME2 will win that hands down. FFXIII will be more of the same except it will look PURTY, give me something fresh for once guys.

Well, then it's a harder question. Although there was this research of most wanted games amongst 360 owners in North America recently:
I'd say they will be pretty close. Quality-wise FFXIII will win hands down. Mass Effect 2 is essentially the same game as the first one, it's just more of the same, whilst FFXIII is something new and exciting.

Heck Final Fantasys opening week should beat Mass Effects lifetime.
Unless ME 2 is surprising or FF13 is a diaspointment.
FF13 will be light years ahead of mass effect 2 in terms of sales simply because it's more popular IP.
Hmmm Tough call i think iIll go with FFXIII on this,ppl want this game badly so i just see this game selling well over 2 million in the 1st week
