Heartstation.org reports that the latest issue of Dengeki PS contained an interview with Kingdom Hearts director Tetsuya Nomura which not only mentioned Kingdom Hearts 3, but how Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep for PSP will relate to it. The article also lists the release date for new chapters of Kingdom Hearts Coded for mobile phones will begin distributing June 3 2009 in Japan. They’ve also posted scans containing new images of Kingdom Hearts Coded and Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days for Nintendo DS

I also read in another article, where they say that once the production off all 3 spin-offs are done, they will start with Kingdom Hearts 3. It's also interesting that it will relate to Birth by Sleep.

Well, Birth By Sleep is the definitive portable KH. (It's the only one that isn't a spin off of existing events, it's a prequel)

And I imagine whoever these handheld games got dumped to will not be working on KH3. The team that will, will be working hard on Versus XIII.

The team won't be working on Versus XIII, Birth By Sleep and Kingdom Hearts III. If they announce it (don't count on it, chances are really low), it'll be just like the Versus XIII announcement. It's been 3 years, and we barely got info about it.

They are all spinoffs. Prequels are spinoffs too. BBS is a prequel to KH and 358/2 is a prequel to KH2. Both are new plot information, and both are absolutely spinoffs. And neither game is being made by the actual Kingdom Hearts team. Nomura is however the director for both games, and Watanabe is the scenario writer for both games (as well as the original KH games). Get over yourself. I expect better than this load of BS out of you.
