Actually HD consoles are the biggest waste of money I´ve seen. They half-ass PC features and as a result get half-ass games which aren´t as good as games that came out on the PC 5 years ago or more. Talk about pathetic.

LMAO, that is one of the funniest things ever!!!! completly the opposite for me hence why I left PC gaming where it belongs (in the past) although I do "download" a few games every so often seeing as noone pays for pc games these days.....

Really now? You have to actually PAY to play online. You get excited when something like LBP comes out, which equates to PC games about 10+ years ago when it comes to making your own content, games require literally 2 buttons nowadays (look at Gears), it's just pathetic and a sad excuse for games. I've been waiting for 5 years for something with better MP than UT2004 to come out and almost as much for a SP FPS to beat HL2. THAT is what makes it pathetic, also don't even get me started on the RPGs.

Have you even played Gears of War?  If you actually would have played it you would know that it requires more than two buttons.

A buddy and I got to chapter 5, to one of the courtyards right after the bridge scene, and that's where our save is still. Couldn't bring ourselves to finish the game, too boring and repetative. Abd yes, it is 2 buttons, the crouch/run/jump/cover/etc. and your fire button. I guess I should add reload in there as well since towards the end reloading and hitting the bonus damage was the most fun I was actually having while playing the game. Sad really.

P.S. I didn't even bother with 2, I'll be honest there.

I'm referring to that one boss battle where the guy has a polearm of some kind and you have to get in "chainsaw battles" with him.  IIRC it was not optional and refusing to melee meant you died.  I might be misremembering however.  Am I? 

[edit:  I guess I was assuming you meant Gears 2; if you meant the first one then this example does not apply.]

If you ignore the WASD buttons as they are the equiv of the left analogue stick you can play many PC shooters with 1-2 buttons. All you need is the fire button and some games require the use button as well.
