More and more I ask myself, "What's wrong with me?" when I play a game that's considered "great" and was highly reviewed, but really don't personally find it to be all that special.  The Halo series, Wii Sports, Super Smash Brothers, GTA 4 and most recently Infamous are just a few examples.  Then there are some games that aren't considered especially great that I really enjoy and would rather play over the "better" games.  Examples of this are any of the Medal of Honor games this gen (Vanguard, Heroes 2 and especially Airborne).

Maybe I shouldn't let this bother me.  Nobody should be told what games to like or dislike.

I fell kinda similar with games like mass effect, fallout, etc.

Not at all...different strokes for different folks, remember that...there´s no "law" stating you have to like what most other people seem to.

GTA = meh.
MGS = sure?
Halo = alright, but nothing spectacular.
Resistance = zomgwtfbbq!?!? (I love the Resistance games)
CoD4 = bleh.
Killzone 2 = decent, but I suck at the mp so I'm not a huge fan.
I also love Assassin's Creed, but that seems to just be a hit or miss kind of thing.

I played the demo.  Infamous is nothing I ever need to buy.  Maybe I'll borrow it from my buddy at work.
