I now have a Bachelor's in Film Studies!

The image is a link to a larger version, in case you want to read that guy's sign. It's awesome. He stands on a bucket holding up that sign, and he says "Happy happy happy happy happy happy!" for hours. Sometimes he mixes it up and says "Everybody happy!" He's been there for at least 3 years with different signs. I think when I first moved here his sign said Cheney was Satan.

The commencement was Monday for no reason, then I turned in my final final paper and took my final final exam on Tuesday. Then Wednesday tied up most of the loose ends at my internship. I'll technically still be an intern until October, when we put on the film show we've been curating all semester. That means I can see free movies all summer at school, and that includes their month-long Oshima Nagisa retrospective!

And as long as I didn't just fail my finals, they'll mail me my degree in September.

Well, for 6 years I took every class in the universe. Then for 1 year I was a Japanese major, and then I did my whole film degree in 1 year because I'm so awesome (I always already pretty close to a degree because I took so many film electives).

What's next? Finishing Paper Mario!
