In a question by Reuters JP, Capcom’s Kazuhiko Abe while talking up sales of Resident Evil 5 for the XBOX360 and PS3,commented on Resident Evil 5 coming to the Wii by saying “We haven’t decided [sic] to offer it or not.”

As much as I would like RE5 on the Wii, I would prefer it if they made a new one from
the ground up, taking motion+ and lower graphics in consideration. But hey, RE4 was perfect on the Wii. All I want is quality :D

they should just make a new resident evil game on wii instead of a RE5 port, by the time they get around on making RE5 wii, no one will be interested in RE5

Why should they do us any favors now? They didn't want to give it to Wii owners before, and now that they realize that it would have sold much more with the Wii release included, they *might* want to give it to us. I'm sick of lame-ass Capcom ports coming to Wii!

Oh man....

I have a solution for you Capcom.
Remake RE Zero,1, 2, 3, CV for the Wii after the RE4 model.

Then, when Wii HD comes, release "the ultimate RE5 version".

Screw it Capcom nobody wants it anymore, but we would like to have another Resident Evil Survival Horror game.

You can make it up to us by making the Wii the main platform for development.
