VGC almost always shows the 360 winning weekly sales. I know corrections are made everytime NPD comes out... but shouldnty the gap be getting BIGGER? Or does it meann that the PS3 has actually been outselling the 360 worldwide?

360 has been overtracked a lot.

PS3 has been undertracked a lot.

I am not sure what is going on either. Maybe the 360 simply had not ascertained the lead VGC originally thought at the start of the year. Its probably not PS3 outselling 360, rather 360 had not been outselling it by as much as originally noted.

Adjustments. The gap has just been hovering around the 8 million mark for months now and doesn't really seem to be moving much.

The gap is still widening, but not by a lot. They're selling pretty much exactly as much. Since the start of March, the difference is 19K. 

That's hardly anything. Anyway, it's not getting smaller, it's staying the same size. VGChartz previously had it as increasing, which was incorrect.

The gap widened by 250k since the beggining of the year.

hopefully by the end of the year the gap will be around 10million.

the npd gap between the 2 mayb massive, but the ps3 sells worldwide as well. u gotta count worldwide sales. overtracking and undertracking is to blame though

This also means for such a massive price drop on the 360......it was really short lived. If Sony goes for the price drop at E3 and/or right before Christmas, I expect a turnaround of giant proportions.
