For some reason....I just don't agree with this. I'm pretty sure a lot of people bought Halo because Halo is the image of the Xbox. Otherwise, since it's at 10M (or nearing it) it's the best FPS ever to grace the world (but we all know that's not true)

 

 

COD4 is the best FPS to grace the world, in my opinion at least, but halo 3 takes a close 2nd place, and killzone 2 is just miles behind both.

Terrible analysis. Sales have nothing to do with quality. Considering how Halo 3 is one of the best selling games of all time, it makes perfect sense for it to continue selling well even a year and a half after it's launch. I mean, even GTA: San Andreas is still selling good for ps2.

 

On the other hand, Killzone 2 is a sequel from a relatively unknown game that's struggling a bit in America, the ps3's weakest turf.

Well, I think you may be exaggerating what he's saying (I hope he doesn't think it's a terrible game).

 

I don't like Halo 3 at all, but I understand why some like it. (Call of Duty man here)

good job halo. While both are good games killzones legs are pathetic. Especially when i know how good of a game it is. I wonder why it cant attract a stronger following. Its had tons of advertising???



I mostly play RTS and Moba style games now adays as well as ALOT of benchmarking. I do play other games however such as the witcher 3 and Crysis 3, and recently Ashes of the Singularity. I love gaming on the cutting edge and refuse to accept any compromises. Proud member of the Glorious PC Gaming Master Race. Long Live SHIO!!!!

The poster I quoted said justified the OP's post saying that Halo 3 is selling more because it's a better game, which is an extremely irrationnal thing to say. There's plenty of thing other than the quality of the game itself that you have to take into consideration when looking at the sales.
