I'm not going to comment on every specific shade of grey mentioned, but let me just say most, if not all of them are irrelevent to who wins a generation. Nintendo won on both fronts, both home console and handheld. Their strategy was so ingenius that Sony and Microsoft still can't understand it, and likely won't be able to capture their own lightning in a bottle next generation. Nintendo has won this gen more than any hardware maker has won ever in the history of anything involving videogames. When all is said and done, Nintendo will likely have sold almost 300 million DS and Wii consoles combined, and that's unprecedented. Their ability to break sales records with games this gen and raising the cap for what makes a top tier game what it is sales wise, 15-20 million, has shown how much better they understand the market than anyone else does.
