While I'll admit the textures don't all mesh with each other as well as SoTC (in stills the creature looks like it's been photoshopped over the backgrounds) I think you have to be crazy or somehow against opossum-birds on principle if you don't think the animations there are remarkable. Word is this build is already over a year old, so who knows how much will change. The point is, I have now seen that team Ico can still do their ineffable style in HD this gen, and I now know that even if I hadn't bought a PS3 last Christmas, I'd still be buying one once this came out.

The boy and the dog or rat thing? It reminds me of the movie I watched when I was still a little kid. Just can't remember.

I was actually talking about your reference to "xbox fans."  Not "art."  Sorry I wasn't clear about that. 

Am I the only one who is not impressed? It looks good, but not as you guys say. There is a big fat rat with feathers and a boy is riding it. The boy does not look good, the environment does. The rat is strange.

But as I stated before, it is NOT about the look of a game, it is about the style. That's what made me love Fable II. but so far, I am not hyped or anything. Let's wait for future videos.

The release might be holiday 2010, right? I doubt it will be out this year. Sony hype their games years before normally.

^This is not about the looks, nor even about the style by itself. It's rough all around, but it's full to the brim with forceful details. The creature's expressions, and movements of its ears. The way it perches and climbs and scratches the stone. The way the child holds on its fur.
Whoever played and loved ICO and Shadow of the Colossus knows the kind of experience we can hope for, and this goes to titillate such hopes with the promise of something as powerful as those.

it's not something you see with the eyes but the story the images are telling.

if u don't see it go back to fable 2 and have sex with random NPCs.

 Maybe it is just not my type of game. All I see is a not-great looking game with a big fat rat in it.
