With the return of MM on vc, and E3 close on the horizon, I'm wondering if there is any chance that the next zelda be another mask based games. 

Would you like it to be dark and atmospheric like MM, with no ganon? I personally would like to see that side of the franchise get a reboot.

It won't be missing Ganon, that's for sure, and it won't be based around masks anymore.

If you check sales, more traditional Zeldas have sold way better than the side stories, so I guess we will be seeing a traditional, but completely rebooted Zelda.

I don't think they will reuse an idea. This time it will be based around something different, not that masks can't be present in the game, but it will not be based around masks.

That's not how they work, it will feel too similar and they will get a huge backlash.

The use of masks rocked in MM. But they can't repeat the same formula.

I'm more interested in how they will incorporate motion plus in Zelda. Will they use first person view? Nice things to look forward too.

well the timing of MM on VC is not coincidence in my opinion, so something is coming. The concept of the masks is too good to just overlook. Maybe if they can integrate that (and other normal zelda things) in addition to something really fresh that would be interesting.

Of course there was that rumor about the flooding hyrule in real time or something... I don't believe that though.

With the hint system... and a reboot of the franchise... the release of MM on VC... the recently announced Spirit Tracks... possibly taking into account Link's crossbow training... gah. Too many possibilities for me to guess...

Maybe a 4-D Zelda?

I want something different like MM, but of course not EXACTLY like MM. Just something fresh and new, and something that finally expands the Zelda-universe, instead of doing something completely unrelated again like Spirit Tracks.
