Forums - Sony Discussion - Hello! I'd like a PS3 for $199.

This is Flower, 'case your interested...

How much of LBP and MGS4 have you played? I don't know how anyone can hate those games. You should give them a second chance, at least.

Also, Valkyria Chronicles is a good reason to buy a PS3. You like RPG's? Well, VC's one of the best this generation and the best SRPG ever. Easily.

I'll check the video in a sec. I could imagine giving LBP a second chance possibly, but MGS4 is off my list forever.

That's the thing though, more often than not I find myself getting bored by RPGs... Only a few of them really catch me. That's why I'm skeptical. I'm sure Valkyria Chronicles is a dream for anyone who loves RPGs, but I hate RPGs more often than I love them. Of course, I'd give it a shot if I eventually get a PS3, given how much praise it's gotten.

Oh wow, Flower looks like an absolutely wonderful experience. I have to make sure to get that if I get a PS3.

I don't think you should spend all of that money on a game, just to use it as a toilet.

That has got to be the best typo I have ever made :p

Fixed now.

You don't need to have played previous game in the series to enjoy Ratchet and Clank. There's no real continuity in the story and they're all pretty much the same game with minor improvements over the years.

Again, I'll use Gametrailers to try to convince you :P

Sorry, but I don't really care if I have to or not. It's just something I have to do to myself, pretty much. If I want to play a franchise I want to play it properly.

PS3 for $199 probably in 2011 if you follow the price drop trends. But one other thing. The PS3 plays bluray movies and if you have an HDTV you will looove the sexy crispness that is bluray.

Sorry, but I really can't tell the difference between DVD quality and bluray quality.

May I add that I'm very happy to see that you've changed avatars, your last one always annoyed me for some reason.

Your game collection says otherwise :P
