We should wait until he's at 9999, then ban him

OT: I only own a PS3, but from what I've seen of Achievements, I prefer trophies. I don't like the idea of a "score", and the "Achievement Unlocked" popup is hideous.

I have owned a 360. I never really tried to get achievements since I didn't play that much. I like how the trophies is set up though. Trophies feel more adult to me. There will be a home space to show all your trophies. I can't wait for that. Hope Sony shows that at E3.

For those who don't or have never owned a 360 then please read the OP instead of ignorantly posting in his thread.

For me I prefer achievements but I purchased my 360 before my PS3 and was collecting achievments for a long time before trophy support was added. For the majority of multiplatform users they will prefer the system they play the most on. In my case it's the 360 for others it's trophies, neither is a truly better system other than for individual opinions.

You said they both suck so why you care for me to explain.

They both add Reply Value so they are equal in that department.

And I enjoy both very much so.

But....

I like achievements more because:

Every Single 360 Games has them.

I don't have to wait for my 360 to sync up with a server to see my achievements.

When I get an achievement I can quickly see what I got the Achievement for, no scrolling, just push button & view.

Achievements feel like a solid part of the system, as trophies seems like an added mod of some kind.

Trophies are still buggy, I Do Not own StarDust but yet it still shows on my trophy list as 0% Trophies ever sense i got the demo, and will not leave my trophy list..

achievement for some reason because it gives you that refreshing feeling whenever you hear the achievement sound which also adds to the charm

achievements... because it is more competitive. (I don't have a PS3, but I know how the Trophies works).
