John Lucas is still around, just not nearly so much. Darth is on sabbatical (self-requested ban), so he'll be back after a time.

 

RolStoppable has been conspicuously absent as of late

History shows time and time again that the old folks tend to romanticize tha past, no matter what's the topic.

I'm kinda nostalgic myself, especially as im getting older. It's natural.

Well recently I have been posting a little less, my average posts/day have dropped from nearly 20 down to 17.5

 Wow, you keep statistics? ^^ That's a 13% decrease in posts average, similar to how the console sales have gone down lol.

It must be the recession.

That's a good list of people who've been sorely missing.  I've never posted that much but i've been on the site fairly consistently for over 2 years now and it definitely has lost something lately.  I noticed that Rol's posts thinned out after his ban.

Yeah I miss Rol as well.  He's one of the few people that I wouldn't skip by if I was skimming a thread.  I know he created some threads to get certain people on the site worked up but in my opinion it's pretty obvious that he is mod material and would have obviously stopped creating such threads if made one.  I think Naz's statement that anyone that is ever banned cannot ever be a mod is a mistake because they lose out on some people that have made a huge contribution to the site and would attract even more people.

The biggest problem in this site is once the best part, the off topic forums, has turned into spam filled unfunny mess. Rarely do i see anything interesting. i want to post , but I want funny, clever and and it has turned into a word post area.
