This is true.

My posts have decreased dramatically since I joined.

The forums have been lackluster.

i know. I'm saying at this point though, they aren't that memorable. I'm pretty sure i'm not very memorable on the site either. so it's not that it's a huge deal to not be memorable.

lol. I think I just don't make enough bold statements. I'm going to make a thread called "Killzone pwns Halo!" or something. then everyone would know who I am and either love me or hate me.

 

I think, for the most part, the memorable members on this site are memorable for the wrong reasons. People like us who are just regular posters that try and be fair and unbiased are bound to be caught in the shuffle and ignored, while members that are not afraid to flaunt their obvious biases are put into the limelight.

Maybe it's better to be relatively unknown.

 

There are exceptions of course, I'm just speaking generally here.

You can be memorable without being biased just be an awesome poster!! get with the big boys haha

We need to have free drinks on Saturdays, and ladies get in free on Tuesday nights.


But, I know exactly how Legend 11 feels. The new members are okay, but a lot of the stuff they want to discuss is stuff the old members got burned out on over a year ago. I spend 30 minutes, sometimes, refreshing the main page, waiting for something interesting to show up. I think this site is at it's best, when members let their hair down, and show their true personality. The off topic section hasn't had that sizzle, lately. I guess it's because members like leo-j, dmeister j, Girl Gamer Elite, and Weezy post rarely or not at all.

Plus, in the early days, the console wars were in full swing. At this point, the Wii and the 360 are pretty much established in their respective roles. The PS3 is coming into its own. As a result, PS3 fans are running wild on this site. It's understandable, but it does get old.

I feel that V 2.0 and E3 are going to give us a shot in the arm, but at the moment, a lot of us are just going through the motions.

A few weeks off would probably do you good in that regard. Come back after E3, and just after letting everything build up for a time, and things should seem relatively new. Especially if this E3 is as epic as people have been letting on

I actually miss the good old vgchartz days.Even Artofangels :P It is okeydokey´s fault for not posting.I actually miss Soriku vs Leo J.Dmeister J attention whore threads.Kirby and Rolstoppable.Riot Of Blood(this guy should post a lot he is like on the top 5 of greatest.Bod and Ben.I also miss the last year summer stuff when psrock posted more.And Sephiroth used to have his old account and make tons of awesome threads.Too bad Darth is banned he is one of the best too he was taking my place for awhile.Zen and John Lucas are missed.And Pichu and brute already reach 10k so I don´t think they want to post as they used to. Edit:Dtewi no longer posts.And Wiiforever got banned :(
