What? Why is Notre Dame University, which is arguably the most prestigiouscatholic university in america, inviting the most liberal leader of the world who stands strongly by his policies that do not respect the life of all humans, to give the commencement speech sunday at NDU's graduation. Not only that they are giving Mr Obama an honorary degree. As a catholic and supporter of NDU I am confused and dissapointed by these actions taken. As Randall Terry said, this is like "The Pope speaking for planned parenthood"

He isn't the most liberal leader in the world. He's center.

He may not be the most liberal, but he for darn sure isn't in the center.

Because maybe religion isn't everything. Maybe, just maybe, they're giving him the award for things other than his religious views.

What other things, he didn't complete his term as US senetor from Illinois and is only a few months in to his presdidential term. He doesn't deserve a degree. Heck even Arizona State University invited him for graduation and didn't give him a degree. He has done nothing but brain washed young voters and liberals last summer to earn thaeir vote.

He's center. Compare him to any other leader of a developed country.

How is this a hate thread, I don't agree with a lot of his policies but I don't hate him. Also what other things would he be rewarded for.

Maybe they like his policies, or maybe they think he's making some good decisions as a president. Why not ask them?
