Didn't played the game yet, but so far I notice, it got mixed feelings. From the people who played it, is it really a flagship title or just because is a M-rated game for Wii and sold poorly got the all that attention?
IS a great game. Not the best, not perfect... bur really really good. I had a blast playing it

No is boring and repetitive. The style is cool but the gameplay is mediocre. I hate that they use it as a way to see if wii games sells or not because this is a niche game.
If you like beat 'em ups, it's good. If you don't like beat 'em ups, then aw shit I can't believe I paid for this stupid boring repetitive game, all you do is beat 'em up!
It feels like an old arcade game where you just punch through armies of chumps. But this time it's in 3-D and you gruesomely murder armies of chumps.
Great artwork, original hip hop soundtrack with lyrics about the murdering, and comedy commentary track.
But... if you don't like beat 'em ups to begin with, you'll hate it. Be warned. Great game, but very narrow market.
These are the people who made Viewtiful Joe, God Hand, and Okami. They're always very original and hilarious, but their games always flop.
It is a really fun game. It is worth the money. I would rate it as an 86-88. It was really fun. The story was interesting. I am not a fan of hip hop but I did enjoy the soundtrack. They got some top notch voice actors, and the commentary is hilarious. It may not be worth 50 bucks to some but it is definitely a must have at some point.

Eh, I'd say no...
But I know others who like it better, but that's because it's got a better combo (READ: Finishing) system and is much goorier... NMH is more original... and to me, slightly more fulfilling...
But MadWorld has multiplayer..?
But NMH is much longer...
They're both great satire games...
Oh yeah, and they both have hillarious stuff in them...
And they both swear a lot...
NMH is cheaper right now, so if you're stuck between the two, go buy NMH instead, and buy MadWorld later... If you really like NMH, you are 98% garaunteed to like MadWorld... Unless you hate the B&W+Red Style...
