Forums - Gaming Discussion - The Big E3 List: 2009 Edition! (IGN)

May 1, 2009 - The 2009 Electronic Entertainment Expo has ditched its lower-key approach from previous years and is supposed to put the "big" back into the "big show" once again. Scheduled to run from June 2-4 at the Los Angeles Convention Center, E3 2009 showcases several of the year's hottest games from the industry's most powerful publishers and developers.

As always, we're kicking off our E3 coverage for the year with a list of every announced videogame that has been "officially confirmed." Just remember not to go crazy if your most anticipated title isn't on the list -- after all, E3 is known for its surprises and secrets, not every company is going to let us know everything ahead of time. That means that our list will by no means be complete until the show starts. Regardless, this page will continue to be updated immediately whenever we can confirm additional titles.

For your easy navigation, we've provided links to every game listed should you want to use our watch-list system to keep an eye on your favorite titles. Titles added in the last 48 hours are marked with a handy "New" icon as well.

Oh, and before we forget. If you're a publisher and want us to add games to your list, send us a complete description to our Big E3 List: 2009 Edition email address and we'll take care of the rest. Also, be sure to hit up our show index for more on E3 2009!

That's a lot from Microsoft

But war... war never changes

Activision are coming ???

I thought they were not coming this year and even if they come they are only showing one game and it doesn't have Call of Duty or Guitar Hero in the Title

Capcom putting Bionic Commando as PC only and Lost Plant 2 as PS3,360 and PC seems kinda weird unless this is IGN's fault

Namco is also going to be showing the hell out of Tekken 6

wow sonys the only one that announced a large chunk of what their preparing. I hope this isn't a bad sign cause I was looking forward to seeing something new.

Currently Watching - Naruto, One Piece

Waiting For - Skyrim, Mass Effect 3

PS3 Trophies

Don't they realize that Sony Online Entertainment is now a subsidiary of Sony Computer Entertainment?

@animefobber: I'm sure you'll see a couple of new things. They need to show the new PSP, and they need to officially unveil LBP PSP. I'm sure they also have 2-3 large scale ps3 projects to show off, whether they be Trico, Starhawk, or an unknown title from Sony Liverpool or another studio. There's also Twisted Metal PS3, but I think that is out of the question, given what David Jaffe has said on neogaf recently.

We'll probably see Hot Shots Tennis or something too.  ;)

I wouldn't worry too much. Sony has a ton of projects in development that aren't on that list.

Clap Hanz - Hot Shots Golf 6
Eat Sleep Play - Twisted Metal PS3
Incognito Entertainment - Hardware 2
Guerrilla Games - Killzone: Liberation 2
Lightbox Interactive - Starhawk
Polyphony Digital - Gran Turismo 5, Gran Turismo Mobile
Ready At Dawn Studios - Untitled PSP game
Relentless Software - Untitled social games
SCE Cambridge Studios - LittleBigPlanet PSP
SCE London Studios - Various SingStar games, EyePet
SCE San Diego Studios - NBA 10: The Inside
Team ICO - Trico

And who the hell knows what SCE Liverpool and SCE Japan are up to. Sony has plenty of stuff to announce.

lost planet 2 on ps3 & PC !? i thought its exclusive for the 360..... anyway good to see it on ps3 also.

Where the hell is Tekken 6? Dammit, NB.

Wow. SONY and Capcom are coming in Full Force.

4 ≈ One

Nice list from Sony
