I see that as a real possibility. This is the first time Sony lost and it lost big. Do they have the stomach to try again? They borrowed heavily to invest in the PS3. Sony will have to decide what there core business is and what their future businees will be. There is a possibility that will not include a console. Time for hard decisions at Sony. If they haven't make them already.

They should NOT CUT THE PRICE until God of War 3 comes out for a few months. The reason: NGSII, U2, Heavy Rain, WKC, ToV, SOIV, Cross Edge, Last Rebellion, Trinity Universe, Atelier Rorona, and FFXIII are going to come out by March next year by latest (I think). Why would they want to cut their prices? These will move their consoles. They should focus on getting AAA games out and make their prices more reliable and cheaper (45nm for example). AT MOST, they should make bundles for GoW, ToV, FFXIII, NGSII, and WKC in their most popular regions.
