Well I wouldn't say that the Simpsons is addictive. It sure is a very good show but there is no big story with twists that makes you coming back for more.

 

Yeah it is more like watch some episodes for fun.

I always exclude comedy shows from my list, as they are all funny (30 Rock, Family Guy, Aqua Teen Hunger Force, American Dad, South Park, etc, etc)

So my list would be:

1. Smallville (As gay as it is sometimes...No one can top the Finale/Premieres of Smallville

2. Lost (Having a Lost party on Wednesday... Home-made Dharma drinks, bages, jumpsuits, etc!)

and tied for 3rd is

3. 24 (Though the later seasons aren't as good, but used to be my favorite)
3. Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles (Shame it didnt get renewed)

Battlestar Galactica used to be good, but they kind of ruined it for me
Prison Break used to be good, but lacked in every department in the 2nd season+

I am suprised at how few people are including Lost and Prison Break on their list. I guess it must be because those people are not watching these shows...

I would also like to include one very addictive show not mentioned before: Heroes.
