Apple or Nintendo??

Apple I would imagine, by quite some way. they have a more diverse range of products that sell equally as well as any of Nintys

either way highwaystar is right and Apple makes more. Not a ton more, but Nintendo couldn't reach that level of profits unless they were producing way more Wii and DS units.

All Nintendo's investments are self supported. I don't know any other company that works like that (although I believe it exists).

Interesting. Not looking at the hardware, I am sure Apple makes more money on, software wise, Nintendo is making a killing out of their software.

As stated above, Apple makes more.

For the number of employees and revenue, Nintendo is more profitable. And Nintendo is in a much better financial position in terms of cash and debt. Nintendo is, by many metrics, the best run company in the world.
