Forums - Sales Discussion - Wii Music has sold 2.65 million

Wii Music could undeservedly end up selling 5 million copies ltd when it stops selling. Wii Music may be a mediocre game in terms of quality but it sells extremely well.

Your right, it should atleast sell 10 million but most gamers are two casual to ever put enough time in to realize how good Wii Music is, they can go back to blasting people away in Halo and Killzone.

see what I did there? It's actually kinda true, but I do want to point out that Halo and Killzone are awesome games, they are however part of the FPS genre which by its very nature very shallow (much shallower than a game like Wii Music for example).

SO i guess is ok to kill 6 million people, just because a whole nation supports and agrees with an idea.

It was actually ~11 million, just 6 million of them were Jewish.

Currently dreaming of: DKC4 or Sonic the Hedgehog 4 (classic 2D platformers) for WiiWare, Smash Bros. for DSi, New Super Mario World for DSi, a Wii remake or true sequel of Final Fantasy Tactics.

One down, hopefully more awesomeness to come.

Please go play Team Fortress 2 or Left 4 Dead against good opponents and then tell me those games are shallow. I also seem to remember you making a rediculous insinuation about FPS games recently as well that makes it hard to take you seriously.

Another alt under the guise of a Ninty fan. Don't bother people.

So does this mean Ninty will possibly give us a "sequel"?

So does this confirm sequel will be anounced at this year E3 as big Nintendo game for core audience? :D

Please no.  There should never ever be another Wii Music.  Actually there should never have been a Wii Music in the first place but we can't change the past but at least we can hope for a better future.

Finally you showed up in this thread.  Where's Rol?  Somewhere he's offended.

I hope so.

Not that they need to change anything much, but now that the storage problem is fixed, a stream of DLC for Wii Music would do me just fine.

Wii Music is a very involved game. It is tough to get a feel for it in just a few minutes of playtime.

For those who have been defending reviewers and saying they should not have to play games they don't like -- remember that it is their jobs. They have to play RPGs to the end, why not Wii Music.

Many people feel that reviewers do not give the Wii its due. Given the way some review scores are reported (seeing graphics docked points because they are not in HD, for example), gives credence to this argument. Furthermore, Matt from IGN's "hatchet job" video certainly raises the stakes in Wii Music hate.

Wii Music is not for anyone -- but no game truly is. But it is a much deeper experience than many people realize.

I like to jump around, and would lead a fairly serene and aimless existence if it weren't for my friends always getting into trouble. I love to help out, even when it puts me at risk. I seem to make friends with people who just can't stay out of trouble.
