Damnit, I'm turning 20 this year. Does this mean that I have to stop playing all of these Wii games I own, since I'll be 20 and my tastes are strictly changing?

Microsoft said it happens when you're 14.  I guess we're really late bloomers.

huh? i'm over 21 and i'm still playing games with E for Everyone/7+(or somethin) rating so?

I'm 40, and i play many types of games... i play some with my kids, and some others alone, but the more "mature" games i've experienced on Wii are not automatically the ones i prefered... that's why i prefer to rent most of these...

Madworld was a huge disappointment, by example... way too short, and quite a basic slasher... while No More Heroes was a cool surprise, full of 2nd degree otaku humor, but needs further improvements in its sequel to reach complete awesomeness...

So, if you want recommandations beyond the Wii games with an "universal appeal" (Mario Kart, Galaxy, Smash Bros, etc), here are the ones comin' to my mind: these are really worth your precious bucks...

Metroid Prime 3: the best use of the wiimote so far, 20 hours+ of exploration and fighting in a very immersive universe, an absolute must-have...

Resident Evil 4: a wiimake with perfect controls, feels new even when you knew the game before...

Okami: one of the longest and most epic adventure you may find, with wiimote controls perfect when you're used to these, and some of the best art style ever found in a videogame...

Little King's Story: despite its cute kiddy look, this is a deep, 50 hours long game, mixing some of the best elements of Pikmin, Animal Crossing and Okami... a real must if you're into strategy and epic adventures...

Fire Emblem Radiant Dawn: if you're into strategy RPG with a real challenge, this game and its Gamecube predecessor are easily some of the best, and will keep you busy for quite some time...

De Blob: if you may like a good looking, colourful platformer with huge levels to explore and some awesome groovy music blended with the gameplay, this game may be a great surprise, despite not looking "mature" at all...

And if you like on-rails shooters, you may give a try at House of the Dead or Umbrella Chronicles... they're fun while they last, at least worth a rent...

Add No More Heroes, and of course Twilight Princess and Mario Galaxy if you still don't know these, and you have hundreds of hours of great gaming waiting for you...

and an ugly drawing in 1080p will stay ugly forever..."

Well being "over 20" isn't really much help, except for the fact that it will take away all the "Kiddy Crap" that's out there as I guess you don't have and Kids yet, or a wife for that matter to consider when buying Wii games...

Tell me first though, you are really just a 14 YO kid wanting some "Mature" type games for your Wii your parents bought - aren't you... Jk!!! lol.

I've been gaming since the G&W generation so I personally find the Wii to be a "new" experience for playing as I'm tired of the usual way. (don't get me wrong, I still enjoy the PS3 and 360 too, just not as much).

Anyway, I have a wife too, so a lot of my considerations include her, but I'll list what I've played that I have enjoyed:

Zelda - Loved it even though it's also on the gamecube (never owned one so it was new for me)

Geometry Wars: Galaxies - Great for multiplayer arcade action if you can get it for < $15US

Zack & Wiki - Great game, especially if you like the old school point and click adventures, with a bit of 3d for depth.

Metroid Prime 3: Well, the Best FPS, controles and all, to date on the Wii

No More Hero's : A Great beat-em-up type game.

Resident Evil 4 : Another Gamecube game but it was new to me... and VERY awsome!!!

Star Trek Conquest: I'm a ST fan so hey.... It's a little crappy if you don't like this type of Genre but I love it anyway.

Little Kings Story: WOW - Just go ready my Review in the User review section on this site.

Mario Galaxy : Must Buy... Most played game to date for me (and my wife).

Mario Party 8 - Great for 4 player get togethers, esp with couples.

Other games I'm looking forward to that will be out soon:

The Conduit: enough said.

Indiana Jones ATSOK : Damn, i'm getting this JUST for the "fate of atlantis" origional point and click, Guess I get the game itself as a bonus... and co-op story game too!

That's about it from me... Hope you find something you enjoy.

It's me...  no really, it IS me!!!

Even with my naked pictures??? I may have the demeanor of a grizzled old man, the facial hair of a wise old man, and the NES game collection of a nerdy old man, but ... my avatar used to show my whole body except for the naughty bits!  My real life meat-body is young!

Tales of Symphonia DOTNW if you like rpg games and played the first it is awesome
Zack and Wiki if you like point and click puzzles games (best game on the Wii)
Wario World Shake it, is a great old school 2D game
