Forums - General Discussion - Mother boils baby: "It was fun to hear her scream"

I'm fine with her being reformed, but only after she was publicly tortured. The other people need to learn what the fuck the consequences are when you act the way she did. Just saying "you will be reformed" doesn't carry any fucking weight behind it. A person should be able to conjure up her screams and unfathomable pain the minute he starts thinking of doing something perverse. I bet you that would stop a whole lot of future fuck ups.

While quite harsh,  I actually agree.   The reason why there are so many repeat offenders in this country is the punishments are no where near harsh enough.

I watched a documentary on prison reform in the Victorian era once and I think I have to disagree there.

The Victorians would harshly punish their prisoners by making them perform unconstructive, isolated and painful activities to punish them "harshly". But what they found was that those prisoners treated harshly never learnt how to change because they couldn't function any other way after they left prison. They realised that achange from harsh punishment to reform was needed. So they started teaching prisoners how to behave in society and tought them skills like sewing that they could use to get a job instead of going out and commiting more crimes.

It solved the problem overnight and crimes rates shot down because they reduced the harsh punishments on criminals.

Thats all well and good but there is one problem with that in the US.  Been there, done that.  And the results arent pretty.  Many of our prisons offer work programs and pshcologist visits.  But we still have a huge turnover of repeat offenders.  So, while that way may be more humane, it doesnt work in our society.

Sick bitch. Let's boil her like a lobster and see how she likes it.

So is the trend for punishment going the other way in the United States?

Now that I read this it says the mother is 19 that is a fairly young age to have a child.Have anyone thought that maybe it was an unwanted child?

WTF does that have to do with anything? Who gives a fuck if she "didn't want the child" Doesn't make it any less inhumane in any way, shape or form

I am not saying that her actions should be justified. I am trying to find the reason of why did she do it.Since a mother would never do that to their child. That is why maybe if it was an unwanted child the mother did not feel attached to him/her emotionally and hold a grudge against her child. It is just a theory,so calm down.

Lol, I know, I know, I thought you were giving some form of justification, my bad. Just when I hear this like this not only does it deeply sadden me and make me wonder what the fuck this world has come to, but , it also angers me.

Waht they should also check is to see if she was otaking aniti depressents, because those can cause psychotic breaks in people.
