Forums - General Discussion - How often do you click "Cancel" instead of "Post"?

I've started to realise that about a third of the times I start writing a post, I hold back and don't post it in the end. Either because I have difficulty trying to express my point of view clearly, or because I realise there's no point arguing. I have also cancelled inflamatory posts at times. So I'm just wondering, do any of you press the cancel button from time to time?

Actually, I almost never click cancel.

I always post in threads I at least have something to say about.

Oy, if I hit post every time I started to type something, I would be sitting at several thousand posts by now...or would be banned lol. I gotta stay out of the political threads lol

You know...? u kinda look like Michael Moore...

Yeah ... I write a long post and think ... no I shouldn't post that I'll get banned.

Sometimes I do it by accident and that really pisses me off.

There are very many times when I have to press cancel, delete a whole written out post, or edit posts for many different reasons.

I actually do that a lot as well. I will write out a post and then realize that it didn't turn out the right way, it isn't worth arguing about, or might come off the wrong way when someone reads it.

I'm basically in the same boat as you, Killergran.

Yah I do press cancel now and then for the same reasons as you mentioned.
