lol. Well, this thread has been demolished. As a Ps3 owner, I'm quite interested in seeing how the motion control will work for the PS3. To be honest, I seriously don't see what the whole craze about the wii controller is about. I'll get my chance xD.

Guidelines to understanding my train of thought:

  • THE METAL GEAR SOLID FRANCHISE IS THE BEST THING TO HIT THE PLANET SINCE THE PS3!! THUS, MGS FRANCHISE >> SLICED-BREAD.
  • Solid Snake shall and well always shove 1up mushrooms up Mario's ass. 
  • Solid Snake shall and well always decimate Master Chief with a flurry of rocket launchers, shotgun rounds, and a 20 minute monologue.

As a Wii owner I love it, because it proves Nintendo is right once agasin and next gen will be all about the motion controls

Sony is totally wrong to join the Wii boat and do motion sensing as they claimed at their launch they wouldn't be using any gimmicks. They hassled Nintendo enough, only to copy them in the end. The PS3's focus was built much like the 360's in which they are centered on males 13-35. Microsoft has put in a much better effort than Sony to reach the younger demographic and women, but it isn't working like the Wii. Microsoft and Sony need to go back to the drawing board and if they take the concept, make it next gen. My reasoning for this is because they can put their marketing completely behind the next gen systems focusing on everyone as opposed to just males for once; acknowledging this, people will buy the system at competitive pricing.

why would it bother me? like there would be actually a game that would utilize it on ps3. it will end as miserable as eye toy with maybe 3-4 titles that would actually use it - not to mention that all of them would be from sony itself and non of them would be any good.

If the Wii sells less than 20 million in 2009 (as defined by VGC sales between week ending 3d Jan 2009 to week ending 4th Jan 2010) Slimebeast wins and get to control Arius Dion's sig for 1 month.

As a Wii owner I am extremely jealous. I am jealous that Sony owners will get to witness the amazement that Wii owners (myself included) had when they first started playing games with the Wii Remote years ago. I cannot get that moment from the past back, and Sony fans are now going to get to witness it for the first time? The green eyed monster named jealousy has once more reared it's ugly head into my life.
