If you've always dreamed of being a film director, but have never had the courage to venture outdoors, you're in luck. A new PlayStation Home update will add a feature called the StageSet, allowing people to set up and shoot their own videos.

Included with the StageSet: cameras to operate, adjustable lighting, and working green screens (for chroma key effects). The StageSet is set to arrive in PlayStation Home this Thursday, May 7.

I think this could be pretty cool. I have fallen in love with HOME Xi. I find myself in home all the time now checking for Xi updates and such. I would love to make some Machinima with this and test my directing skills ^^

Yea, I think so too. Xi has tons of stuff to do. It feels like a real life hunt, Carmen Sandiego style lol. We are all looking for an actual person, Jess. She has left clues to her whereabouts as well as the origins of "Xi" within mini games and puzzles. I don't know if you have tried it yet, but after doing the first couple of puzzles(without cheating by gettingthe answers from someone) you will be looking at your tv/pc screen going "WTF? DId that just really say that? Is this shit real?". It feels like a global conspiricy and you can easily get sucked into it. I LOVE IT!!! Me and my roommate anticipate the updates now, so we can solve more of the riddles.

As for this STAGE thing, it has potential as well. I can totally see me throwing myself into the seat as a director, making little tv sitcoms from HOME. It will be like Sims the Movie lol.

Most people refuse to give HOME a chance because of initial bordom, but it doesnt have to be boring if you just do one of the many things they give you access to.........for FREE! There are arcade games, pool,bowling, puzzles, as well as Social forums. Just feel free to try it all out. :)
