Another remake/port? Unfortunately, this one not as welcome as the Pokémon Gold/Silver remake.

Capcom’s press page has a listing for Resident Evil 3 for the Wii. What gives? First Resident Evil Archives, then Darkside Chronicles retelling RE2’s story…now this? Is Capcom trying to build up a fanbase on Wii in preparation for a proper, new Resident Evil game?

Let’s hope so. Everything else from inhouse Capcom on Wii lately hasn’t exactly been very exciting. We’ll probably learn more about RE3 on Wii in June.

The pictures in their article are from REmake...

haha, I was just about to post this. The pics they show are the RE1 remake though.....but capcom's press page lists Resident Evil 3. As much as RE3 wasn't my favorite RE, I wouldn't mind seeing a remake of it done in the same light as the RE-remakes were done.

Though the pragmatist in me says its a typo.

The news article has been updated, they say the press page actually has pictures of Chris and Jill from the RE-remake. Really does sound like a typo on Capcom's part.

Or they simply milk RE when it´s still possible.

they need to focus on making RE6 good for the HDs as far as all these remakes of past games been there done that years ago

Yea, I posted this the day that Capcom put this on their press website. It is really Resident Evil Archives, which is a port of REmake
